General Information

IAMIC is the only association in Illinois lobbying directly on behalf of the mutual insurance industry. We work the halls of the capitol with the mutual insurance industry interests in mind.

Whether faced with a new tax, limits being placed on how companies may operate, or changes to the Farm Mutual Act, IAMIC is there to help. We monitor the legislation that is important to mutual companies and educate our legislators on the industry and what we need to be successful.

IAMIC’s involvement in the process does not end there however. We are also involved with the Illinois Division of Insurance and have developed a good working relationship with these regulators.
