Becoming a Member
Membership in the Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies is by company or firm, not by individual. IAMIC offers two types of membership options, Regular Membership and Associate Membership.
Regular Membership
This group constitutes the primary class of membership in the association. Voting membership is by company (corporation, partnership, proprietorship) and is open to any insurance company incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois.
Associate Membership
This membership option is reserved for those companies that provide services to the insurance industry. This includes any insurance company not incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois, and any industry-related firm, business or association.
